Carmel is a bit of everything. The town wraps around Lake Gleneida right by the county offices, takes in part of Lake Mahopac, and stretches out into newer subdivisions — so the housing runs from older lakeside and village homes to relatively recent construction.

That mix means we see two very different jobs here. In the older homes near the lakes and the village, openings are non-standard and layouts are tight — perfect for our approach of modifying quality stock and semi-custom cabinet lines to fit and look fully custom. In the newer subdivisions, the kitchens are a more predictable layout but often a builder-grade install that's now a decade or two old and ready for an upgrade. Plenty of Carmel homes are also on well water, so we factor hard-water and calcium staining into vanity tops and finish choices.

Either way, the goal is the same: a result that looks fully custom at a price that makes sense for the house.
